Founded by Christian Flinn in 2011, Flinn Inspection Group, LLC is a family owned and operated company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.
Christian Flinn’s extensive background in new construction and remodeling industries made him a natural to enter the home inspections business and in less than 5 years, he has built his fledgling enterprise into a powerhouse company handing more than 500 inspections a year..

Christian Flinn
Owner/Certified Home Inspector
Christian Flinn, the owner of Flinn Inspection Group, is a graduate of Heidelberg College. His career in real estate started in early 2000 as a builder for Ryan Homes in Cincinnati/Dayton. After a few years of building homes, he moved back to Columbus and started his own remodeling construction company. For the next 8 years, he built homes, finished basements, constructed additions, as well as bought, rehabilitated, and managed roughly 25 rental properties. After the real estate collapse of 2008, he was forced to use his talents elsewhere and chose to start inspecting homes. Fast-forward to today, by the grace of God, Christian’s family, and the support of friends and colleagues he now has an amazing team of inspectors and staff. Flinn Inspection Group, LLC is now one of the most respected companies in the industry. When he’s not working, you can find Christian with his wife either at the gym, watching one of their kids’ playing sports, on his Harley, traveling, or out on the water.
Regan Flinn
CFO
Regan Flinn is Christian’s wife and the CFO of Flinn Inspection Group. She has been with the company since its inception and throughout the years has worn many hats. Her ongoing goal is to successfully grow Flinn Inspection Group into a solid trusted landmark in central Ohio. In her “spare time” she is a full-time real estate agent, as well as a property manager for their rental properties and vacation rental homes. She enjoys spending time with her 2 cats and of course with their 3 very active kiddos! Regan’s passion is design/decor, traveling, fitness, animals, being outdoors, and anything water-related. She has been active with and even started her own charity involved with animals, the homeless, and the less fortunate especially focusing on children.
April Garner
Office Manager
April began her career gaining experience in an administrative assistant role, while also establishing herself as a respected office coordinator & business analyst for the State of Ohio. April is an organized & dedicated office manager, driven by her mission to serve. April is best known for her passion to help others. She volunteers as the team manager for her 2 boys’ travel hockey teams. She and her husband recently relocated from Ohio to Nashville, but will always remain a Buckeye at heart. Her passion is in design and décor. One of her favorite ways to unwind is to refurbish old furniture and use her artistic talent.
Chad Auber
Inspector Lead/ Manager
Chad is an Inspector Lead/ Manager for Flinn Inspection Group. He has been in the inspection industry for over 7 years and has preformed over 3000+ inspections. Chad has a passion for seeing others succeed around him and helps educate and train new inspectors from his knowledge and experiences in the field and oversees all inspection operations. Chad and his soon to be wife recently purchased their first house and currently reside there with their golden retriever Jolene, aka JoJo. When not preforming inspections you can find Chad on the golf course, boating on the lake, watching football, and traveling.
Steve Begeny
Certified Master Inspector
Steve Begeny is a licensed home inspector in the state of Ohio, with over 8 years of experience in the industry. He is a Certified Master Inspector through Internachi and has completed over 3000 inspections. Steve is passionate about helping and educating people in the purchase of their new homes, and takes pride in delivering thorough and comprehensive inspection reports. He has much experience in sewer camera inspections, mold inspections, wood destroying insect inspections, radon testing, lead testing, and new build phase inspections. He also runs a small remodeling business on the side. In his free time, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and daughters, Aubrey and Ava. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys Ohio State, Bengals, and the Reds.
Kimberly Thompson
Customer Support Specialist
Kim is the friendly voice that schedules all your inspections. She has a strong background in customer service and support. Her background includes work in nonprofit organizations, law enforcement, and medical practice. She and her husband are empty nesters and spend their weekends traveling to see their daughter’s band perform all over central Ohio and Nashville.
